This, to me, is a priceless journal kept by Teddy Roosevelt telling me of the experiences that made him the man he was."  (Kenneth from Amazon reviews) A Note on Edition Variations;    The Wilderness Hunter was originally published in 1893. After that, there were quite a few editions published through the years. Most of them were printed with 11 or 12 chapters and several illustrations that varied from edition to edition. In addition, a Volume 2 was printed under the same name in 1903 with it's own  chapters and illustrations. In short,  books printed with this title and printed around that era are not necessarily exactly the same.    This digital version is the 'Standard Library Edition, printed in 1909. By combining Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 it created a book with 21 chapters, an Appendix,  24 main illustrations and dozens of lesser page decorations. It is the most comprehensive of all of the  editions.
