How do I read books on Lex?

Simply browse our collection of 75,000+ books, tap on any book to open its detail page, and tap 'Read' to start reading. Your progress syncs automatically across all your devices.

What is Lex Premium?

Lex Premium gives you access to 20,000+ human-narrated audiobooks from classic literature. You can listen to any book with audio available and switch seamlessly between reading and listening.

How do I subscribe to Premium?

Go to Settings in the app and tap on the subscription options. You can choose between monthly ($9.99/month) or yearly ($95.90/year) plans. On iOS, payments are processed through the App Store. On Android, payments go through Google Play. On the web, you can subscribe directly with a credit card via our secure payment processor.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iOS, go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your device, find Lex, and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android, open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Lex > Cancel. On the web, go to Settings and click 'Manage Billing' to cancel through our payment portal. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.

How do I restore my purchase?

If you've previously subscribed and need to restore your purchase (e.g., after reinstalling the app or on a new device), go to Settings in the app and tap 'Restore previous purchases'.

Can I upload my own books?

Yes! Lex supports EPUB and PDF files. You can upload your own ebooks and they'll sync across all your devices. Go to your profile and use the upload feature.

How do highlights and notes work?

While reading, simply select text to create a highlight. You can add notes to any highlight. All your highlights and notes are saved and synced across devices, and you can view them all from the book's detail page.

What are bookshelves?

Bookshelves help you organize your reading. You can create custom shelves, add books to them, and even share your shelves with other Lex users.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > scroll down to 'Account management options' > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data including reading progress, highlights, and bookshelves.
