The Rāmāyana Volume Two

In this second volume Rāmā is banished to the forest, along with his brother Lakshmana and his wife Sitā. The demon Rāvana will kidnap Sitā and keep her captive in his city of Lankā. Manmatha Nath Dutt provides a complete and literal translation of the first great Epic of India. If you want to read the Rāmāyana as Valmiki wrote it, without the improvements and interpretations of modern authors, this is the best translation available. This book was originally published using KDP and sold on Amazon. Amazon's current policy on using KDP for public domain titles requires that the book be differentiated somehow and this book probably does not qualify. I have chosen to unpublish this title and share the files here instead. The original files used for KDP were lost so I have done my best to recreate them.
