The Rāmāyana Volume Three

As this third volume opens, Hanumān the monkey has just found Sitā imprisoned in the city of Lankā and the battle between Rāvana's forces and the monkey and bear armies of Rāma are about to begin. Manmatha Nath Dutt has written a complete and literal translation of India's first great Epic. For anyone wishing to read the Rāmāyana the way Valmiki wrote it, without the improvements and interpretations of modern authors, this translation is the best available. This book was originally published using KDP and sold on Amazon. Amazon's current policy on using KDP for public domain titles requires that the book be differentiated somehow and this book probably does not qualify. I have chosen to unpublish this title and share the files here instead. The original files used for KDP were lost so I have done my best to recreate them.
