Recluse
Recluse is an unfinished poem by William Wordsworth, intended as an introduction to his larger work, The Prelude. Written in the early 19th century, it was designed to consist of three parts, with the second part being The Excursion. The first book of the first part was left in manuscript and published for the first time in 1888, providing insight into Wordsworth's poetic vision and themes of nature and solitude.
