The Strange Adventures Of Billy Rabbit

This is a story book written and illustrated by Mary Tourtel, published in 1908 by M.A. Donohue & Co. The story is about a rabbit named Billy. He leaves his home to travel the world. Along the way he meets various talking animals, including distant family members that treat him poorly. They all have a dinner party. There are some unpleasant events. Then Billy returns home to his human 'mistress', and the reader is given the moral lesson, "And Billy Knew Better Next Time".
