The Seven Purposes: An Experience in Psychic Phenomena

The Seven Purposes: An Experience in Psychic Phenomena, written by Margaret Cameron in 1918, is a non-fiction account that delves into psychic phenomena through the author's personal experiences with planchette, a tool used for spirit communication. The book is structured in three parts: the genesis of messages, the lessons derived from them, and additional individual messages, primarily focusing on communications from a spirit named Mary Kendal. This work offers a unique early 20th-century perspective on automatic writing and extrasensory perception, challenging conventional views on the subject.
