The Gefilte Fisherman
2026
You don’t have to be either Jewish or know how to fish to appreciate humour. Who is Sebastien De Vere, the legendary Gefilter Fisherman of the Sea of Galilee? This short story, written by Alan L. Simons, is a hilarious, fictional journey through a series of conversations and tales between a 30-year-old, soon-to-be millionaire and a 93-year-old Pythagorean pescatarian, orthodox rabbi.
