Ruby's Reward by Mrs. Georgie Sheldon was run as a dime novel and was never published as a traditional book. This is a compilation of all the chapters of the book in one place. In 1887, identical editions of Ruby's Reward were run in New York Weekly , Te Aroha News , and Auckland Star . The majority of the chapters in this compilation are from New York Weekly , published weekly from 19 March 1887 to 6 August 1887. There is a section of Chapter 2 in New York Weekly that is illegible so that small section in the middle of Chapter 2 was taken from Auckland Star , the issue of 11 June 1887. Chapter 3 was taken from Te Aroha News because much of Chapter 3 from New York Weekly , as well as in Auckland Star , is illegible. Additionally, since there are no scans of Chapters 4-21 in New York Weekly , those chapters were taken from Te Aroha News and Auckland Star . Chapters 4-5, 7-9, and 11-21 were taken from Te Aroha News in issues published between 30 June 1887 and 8 August 1887. Chapters 6 and 10 were taken from Auckland Star from the issues of 25 June 1887 and 2 July 1887 respectively. Below is a listing of the URL links to the original scans for each chapter.
