
Negrinha is a collection of short stories by Brazilian author José Bento Renato Monteiro Lobato, first published in 1920. The original edition contains six stories, while later editions expanded the collection to twenty-two. The title story is notable for its portrayal of urban dramas and is frequently listed among the best Brazilian short stories. In recent years, the book has sparked discussions regarding accusations of racism, particularly concerning the title story and 'O bugio moqueado.'
