(4to) "Almanach pour xvii ans," p. 2, dated l527-l543 A book of hours for Amiens meeting the description of this item as to physical and textual details has been attributed to the printer Simon Hadrot whose mark appeared on the t.p. (initials S.H.) on a shield. No other Amiens hours with this almanach is recorded in standard reference works. Possibly another printing by Nicolas Prevost, active in Paris at that period? Title page utilizes the printer's device of Simon Vostre (who earlier issued similar Amiens hours) with his SV removed from the shield and his name from the bottom of the device. The woodcut historiated borders and woodcut ill. also reflect his publications. Red and blue initials throughout Signatures: a-b⁸, c⁴, d-h⁸, i¹⁰, ã⁸, ẽ⁸, ĩ⁸, õ⁶. Repère "A" [Amiens] with sigs. a, d-i With "Oraison tres devote a dieu le pere," ẽ8, language of text becomes French instead of Latin
