今戸心中 (Imado Shinjyuu) is a novel by Ryūrō Hirotsu, published in the late 19th century. It tells the tragic story of Yoshizato, a high-class prostitute in Yoshiwara, who mourns the departure of her customer Hirata. As she learns of another customer, Zenkichi's sacrifices for her, their relationship deepens, but financial despair leads them to a tragic double suicide.
