Paimenet kedolla retells the Nativity from the boy Phares’s view, as angels announce peace and he chooses the shepherd’s calling over worldly power. Kirkkain lyhty shows three sisters facing their first Christmas without their mother until a letter recalls her image of death as an angel carrying the brightest lantern, which gently reframes their grief. Jouluvieras introduces Jaakko-setä, whose whimsical presence restores wonder to a household wrestling with cynicism about Christmas, culminating in his rain-soaked arrival and a rekindling of joy.
