Unidentified armorial bookplate ("Victoria concordia crescit") on recto of front free endpaper. Autograph of Ebenezar Mussel, dated 1750, clipped off on front flyleaf recto. Unsigned purchase inscription tracing to the Mussel sale of 1766 on same leaf. Early/contemporary marginalia throughout. Prayers to the Virgin Mary and prayers for the dead struck out. This copy was item 747 in the sale of Lord Amherst's library (1908/1909). Housed in a brown goatskin box by Zaehnsdorf
