The 50 plates of the 1609 ed. have been expanded to 80 Etched t.p. with architectural border. 5th and 25th plates signed DM. 24th plate, a scene, is signed JW (first letter uncertain) T.p. of Library's copy mounted on supporting leaf. Occasional repairs both old and recent to leaf edges Library's copy has 79 plates, rather than 80 (no. 49 lacking?). The plates are numbered in ink (within parentheses) at center of upper margin, and in pencil at upper right With library's volume is kept the original binding and additional plates originally bound in with the text Binding: modern mottled brown goatskin, tooled in blind At upper right corner of t.p. is signature of Ri.
