LEONHARD EULER Universal Arithmetic Vol 2, 1769 This book, Volume 2 of Universal Arithmetic, was the result of a translation from German into Russian by two of Euler's students, Peter and Ivan Yudin. The Russian title is УНИВЕРСАЛЬНАЯ АРИФМЕТИКА meaning Universal Arithmetic. This second volume was released in 1769, the same year Isaac Newton's 'Universal Arithmetick' was translated from Latin into English. Perhaps that is a reason why few people know about this book.
