12 Recipe Cards Dated 1901

12 recipe cards in an envelope, dated 1901. History: bought at the Swanson Estate Sale, by Liisa Penner. Recipes are probably gifts to Dr. Frank D. Reames and wife Clara Wilhemina Young for Clara  W's first marriage. When her husband died in 1903 Clara remarried to Dr. Eldred B. Waffle. In 1940 their first born, Clara Josephine Waffle married Harry  R. Swanson Jr., when the Recipes were regifted to Clara Josephine from her mother. In a 3.5'' x 6.5'' envelope with the names on top lefthand corner, Eldred B. Waffle, M.D., Clara W. Waffle, M.D., Frank E. Fowler, M.D., 204-208 Stokes Bldg. Astoria, Oregon;
