Sitio de Sebastopol
Sitio de Sebastopol, originally titled Севастопольские рассказы, is a collection of three short stories written by Leo Tolstoy and published in 1855. The narratives document Tolstoy's experiences during the Siege of Sebastopol (1854-1855) in Crimea. These sketches provide insight into the realities of war and serve as a precursor to themes explored in his later masterpiece, War and Peace.
