The mark of Cain
The Mark of Cain is a Western novelette by W. C. Tuttle, written in the mid-20th century. It follows Streak Malone, a gunslinger who becomes the deputy marshal in the lawless town of Silver Butte, where he confronts a ruthless saloon boss and navigates a web of corruption and violence.
