The Influence of Darwin on Philosophy, and Other Essays in Contemporary Thought is a collection of philosophical essays by John Dewey, first published in 1910. The work examines the impact of Darwinian ideas on contemporary philosophy, particularly how they challenge traditional beliefs in fixed truths and stable moral values. Dewey argues for a new understanding of knowledge and morality that embraces change and evolution, highlighting the necessity for philosophy to adapt to modern scientific insights.

— John Dewey
