Shearjashub Spooner

Shearjashub Spooner was an American physician and writer known for his contributions to both medicine and literature in the 19th century. Born in Brandon, Vermont, he pursued a career in medicine, graduating as a physician from Middlebury in 1830 and later practicing dentistry in New York City. Spooner dedicated much of his life to the medical field, ultimately retiring in 1858, but his literary pursuits also marked his legacy.
