Redgauntlet
Redgauntlet is a historical novel by Sir Walter Scott, published in 1824. Set in 1765, it revolves around a fictitious third Jacobite rebellion in Dumfriesshire, Scotland. Notably, it is considered the most autobiographical of Scott's works, reflecting his personal experiences and views on the Jacobite cause.
