The Road Unto Trouble is the second book in William Morris's fantasy series, The Well at the World's End, published in the late 19th century. It follows Ralph of Upmeads, the youngest son of the King of Upmeads, as he continues his quest for adventure and the legendary well with magical properties. Throughout his journey, Ralph encounters a variety of characters, including a mysterious knight and a treacherous servant, who both aid and hinder his progress. This installment expands on the themes of adventure and the complexities of human nature in a richly imagined world.
