Hans Egede

Hans Egede was a Norwegian Lutheran priest and missionary renowned for his pioneering efforts in Greenland, where he became known as the Apostle of Greenland. In the early 18th century, he initiated mission work among the Inuit, marking a significant revival of Danish-Norwegian interest in the region after a period of nearly 300 years of disconnection.
