The Bonfire

''The Bonfire'' by Francis Edward Paget, written in the mid-1800s, is a moral tale for children set in a rural English village during Guy Fawkes night. The story follows a group of boys who, after causing an accident that harms a poor widow, must learn about honesty, responsibility, and community values.
