Ravensdene Court

The Northumberland coast keeps its secrets well, but not even fog and craggy cliffs can hide a murder. When book collector Leonard Middlebrook accepts an invitation from Francis Raven to catalogue the ancient library at Ravensdene Court, he anticipates a quiet scholarly retreat. Instead, he stumbles onto a killing. Salter Quick, a seafaring man with an obsession of his own, lies dead on the beach, and he wasn't the only one searching for gravestones in that desolate stretch of coastline. Another stranger called Netherfield is hunting the same family graves, and both men were chasing answers to questions the past had buried. Middlebrook finds himself entangled in a web of old crimes, inherited secrets, and the dangerous weight of family history. The library holds more than first editions. It holds the key to a mystery someone killed to keep buried.
