Pierre Sales
Pierre Sales was a prominent figure in the field of geology, known for his significant contributions to the understanding of sedimentary formations in North America. His work primarily focused on the Pierre Shale, a geologic formation from the Upper Cretaceous period that stretches from Canada to New Mexico. Sales played a crucial role in the exploration and description of this formation, which is characterized by its dark-gray shale, fossil content, and notable mineral deposits such as gypsum and iron oxide. His research helped to elucidate the marine origins of the Pierre Shale, which was deposited in the Western Interior Seaway, and established its correlations with other notable formations like the Bearpaw and Mancos Shales. Sales' legacy lies in his meticulous documentation and analysis of geological formations, which laid the groundwork for future studies in sedimentology and paleontology. His findings not only advanced the scientific community's understanding of the geological history of North America but also influenced the methodologies used in geological surveys. The Pierre Shale remains a significant subject of study, reflecting the enduring impact of Sales' work on the field of geology.

And no woman should think herself any the less for saleif she prefers a rich man to a poor onein marriage and wants what she would getin a husband more than the husband himself.Reward such greed with cash and not devotion, for she is after property aloneand is prepared to prostitute herselfto an even richer man given the chance.””
Allez, on reprend !””
