Wars of the Jews

The Wars of the Jews, written by the 1st century Jewish historian Flavius Josephus around AD 75, chronicles Jewish history from the capture of Jerusalem by Antiochus IV Epiphanes in 164 BC to the destruction of the city during the First Jewish-Roman War in AD 70. Originally composed in Aramaic, the text was later translated into Greek, likely under Josephus's supervision.
