The Man She Hated: Or, Won by Strategy

A fictional novel written in the late 19th century. The story follows Fairfax Fielding, a beautiful young factory girl navigating love and societal expectations while grappling with her confusing feelings towards Waverley Osborne, a wealthy man, and the unexpected turn of events that leads to a disastrous marriage forced upon her by jealousy and manipulation.
