The Honour of the Clintons

The Honour of the Clintons is a novel by Archibald Marshall, written in the early 20th century. It centers on the Clinton family, particularly twin sisters Nancy and Joan, as they navigate societal expectations in rural England. The story examines themes of family honor and the clash between traditional values and modern influences, especially following Joan's controversial visit to a liberal social circle. The narrative unfolds in the tranquil setting of Kencote, where tensions arise from external influences and a scandal involving a stolen pearl necklace.
