Sermons on the Card, and Other Discourses

Sermons on the Card, and Other Discourses is a collection of sermons by Hugh Latimer, first published in 1886. Latimer, a prominent figure in the English Reformation, addresses moral and spiritual issues with clarity and earnestness, reflecting his shift from traditional Catholicism to Reformed Christianity. The text includes his notable 'Sermons on the Card,' where he uses card-playing as a metaphor to convey spiritual truths, urging listeners to consider their moral responsibilities and relationship with God.
