Sea Fairies

Published in 1911, 'Sea Fairies' is the first book in L. Frank Baum's projected series featuring Trot and her sailor companion, Cap'n Bill. The story follows their underwater adventures with mermaids and other fantastical creatures. Although Baum intended to create a new series, he later returned to the Oz universe, incorporating Trot and Cap'n Bill into 'The Scarecrow of Oz' in 1915. This book showcases Baum's imaginative storytelling and expands on his established fantasy world.
