Royal Book of Oz
The Royal Book of Oz, published in 1921, is the fifteenth book in the Oz series and the first written by Ruth Plumly Thompson after L. Frank Baum's death. The story follows the Scarecrow as he seeks to discover his family roots, leading to his mysterious disappearance. Dorothy Gale and the Cowardly Lion embark on a quest to find him, forming a rescue party to bring him back. This book is notable for continuing the beloved Oz legacy with Thompson's unique storytelling style.
