Quest of the Golden Ape

A man wakes in a locked mansion with no past, no childhood, no name, only the echo of his mother's scream crying out for vengeance and the memory of his people being slaughtered. He has slept for a hundred years. Now the ancient Ofridians have summoned him from oblivion for reasons buried in legend and blood. Bram Forest must piece together who he was before the silence, even as the neighboring world of Tarth teeters toward war and an avenging hero rises from the ashes of an ancient atrocity. What he discovers will bind his fate to a civilization that defied its oppressors, and to a destiny that may demand everything he has yet to remember. This is pulp science fiction at its paranoid, evocative best: a quest through shattered identity toward a truth more dangerous than oblivion itself. For readers who cherish the mid-century SF tradition of mysterious awakenings, lost empires, and heroes who must rediscover themselves in the stars.
