Prince Otto
In the idyllic, if perpetually teetering, Grand Duchy of Grünewald, Prince Otto prefers the chase to the cabinet, leaving the affairs of state to his shrewd wife, Princess Amalia, and her cunning confidante, Gondremark. But when whispers of socialist revolution begin to stir among his neglected populace, Otto attempts a most uncharacteristic power grab, only to discover that reclaiming a throne (and a wife's affection) is far more complicated than bagging a deer. What unfolds is a delightful, if at times tragic, dance of political maneuvering, mistaken identities, and the intricate, often absurd, machinations of a court on the brink.
