Pony Rider Boys in New England
The Pony Rider Boys are heading somewhere unexpected. After their adventures out West, the boys turn their horses east toward the untamed wilderness of Maine - a different kind of frontier entirely, with dense forests, rocky terrain, and dangers that don't come with a western brand. But trouble, it seems, follows these boys wherever they go. From the moment they ride into the wilderness, both four-legged and two-legged challenges test their nerve and their friendship. The Maine backcountry doesn't roll out the welcome mat, and the boys must rely on each other to survive what lies ahead. This is early twentieth-century juvenile adventure fiction at its most charming - wholesome, action-packed, and full of the kind of camaraderie that defined an era of American storytelling for young readers.
