Holy War

The Holy War, written by John Bunyan in the late 17th century, is a religious allegory that depicts the struggle for control of the city of Mansoul, representing the human soul. The narrative illustrates the conflict between good and evil forces as they vie for dominance over the city, which is governed by its rightful ruler, King Shaddai. This work is notable for its exploration of spiritual warfare and has been influential in Christian literature, second only to Bunyan's more famous work, The Pilgrim's Progress.
