Gray Lensman

Published in 1951, 'Gray Lensman' is the fourth book in E.E. Smith's Lensman series. The story follows Kimball Kinnison, who becomes a Gray Lensman, a title denoting his independence and ability to combat evil without organizational constraints. Equipped with new training from Arisia that enhances his Perception, Kinnison battles the malevolent forces of Boskonia threatening the galaxy. This installment further develops the series' themes of individualism and the struggle against tyranny in a science fiction setting.
