Dark Reality

In a future too dark to comprehend, humanity faces its final hour. One person is chosen from among the living, but why this person, and for what purpose, remains a mystery even to those who select them. As the truth behind the selection slowly emerges, the survivor must confront an existential horror: that humanity's salvation may demand a sacrifice beyond imagining. Set against the ruins of civilization and threaded with fragments of Earth's history, this early SF meditation asks what we owe to the future, and whether survival is ever truly worth its price.
