Corsario is an autobiographical poem by George Gordon, Lord Byron, published in the early 19th century. It tells the story of Conrado, a corsair shunned by society yet admired by women due to his scandalous behavior. Byron, a leading figure of the Romantic movement, became immensely popular during his lifetime and is often seen as the embodiment of the Romantic poet. His life and works significantly influenced European literature and culture, giving rise to the term 'byronism.'
