Colorado Jim

Published in the early 20th century, 'Colorado Jim' by George Goodchild follows Jim Conlan, a wealthy and rugged man from Colorado, as he transitions from the Wild West to the refined societies of New York and London. The novel explores themes of love, class differences, and self-identity as Jim navigates his feelings for the aloof Angela Featherstone while facing challenges in a world far removed from his own. Notable for its portrayal of the Gold Rush era and the clash between rugged individualism and aristocratic society, the story captures Jim's internal struggles and quest for acceptance.
