Christopher and the Clockmakers
Christopher Mark Antony Burton carries a name too heavy for a boy, and when illness robs him of school and sports, he finds himself adrift. His father's clock and jewelry shop becomes his refuge, and there, among the ticking mechanisms and careful craftsmanship, Christopher discovers something his formal education never offered him: a world where patience and skill matter more than recitations and rugby. A clockmaker with steady hands introduces him to the secret language of gears and pendulums, and slowly Christopher begins to forge an identity beyond the burden of his christened name. This is a gentle, tender story about finding purpose in unexpected places and the quiet dignity of making something beautiful with your hands.
