Cyril Crossland

Cyril Crossland was an English zoologist renowned for his extensive studies of marine life, particularly in the fields of Protozoa, Corals, and Molluscs. Born in Sheffield, England, he dedicated much of his career to advancing the understanding of these organisms, serving as an assistant to the prominent zoologist Charles Eliot. His expertise and contributions to marine biology were recognized internationally, leading him to a significant position at the Denmark Zoological Museum in 1938, where he continued his research until his death in 1943.
