Zip, the Adventures of a Frisky Fox Terrier

Meet Zip, a fox terrier with more energy than sense and curiosity that never sleeps. Set in a charming early 20th-century village, this is the story of a small dog whose big heart leads him into one predicament after another: confronting a burglar in the night, tangling with a troublesome monkey, sneaking scraps from the kitchen, and generally turning the quiet town upside down. Zip isn't a perfect hero. He's greedy, he's mischievous, and he often lands himself in troubles of his own making. But he's also clever, brave, and fiercely loyal to the humans and animals he loves. The village comes alive through Zip's wandering eyes: the kindly villagers, the other pets, the comings and goings of daily life seen from a terrier's peculiar height. These adventures crackle with the kind of gentle humor and harmless chaos that made early children's literature so beloved. For young readers who dream of a dog who gets into everything and somehow always lands on his feet, Zip is an irresistible companion.
