Wonderful Bed
Two young children sent to stay with their Aunt Jane discover that her guest bed is nothing like any they've slept in before. It's enormous, impossibly so, with sheets that cascade like rolling hills and a mattress that seems to stretch toward distant horizons. When they build a tent beneath the covers and crawl inward with their lantern, they quickly realize they'll never reach the foot of the bed. The darkness ahead isn't the ordinary darkness of bedding - it opens instead into a dreamworld of shadowed caves, weathered pirates, and adventures waiting to be found. The children must navigate this strange landscape where the rules of the waking world no longer apply, and where the line between the world beneath the sheets and the world beyond them grows deliciously, terrifyingly unclear. What begins as a simple bedtime game becomes an expedition into wonder, a reminder that the most extraordinary journeys often begin in the most ordinary places - even a bed.
