The World Below is a science fiction novel by British author S. Fowler Wright, first published in 1929. It follows a contemporary narrator, George, who is projected into a far-future Earth filled with carnivorous plants and intelligent Amphibians. Caught between the Amphibians and the ruling Dwellers, he embarks on a perilous mission to find two vanished time-travelers. Originally intended as part of a trilogy, this novel showcases Wright's imaginative vision of alien ecologies and moral dilemmas in a transformed world.
