The Story of Rolf and the Viking's Bow

In Viking-era Iceland, a boy named Rolf must become a man before he's ready. His father, Hiarandi, bears the weight of a family curse called 'the unlucky', a shadow that has followed their line for generations. When Hiarandi makes the honorable choice to light a beacon guiding shipwrecked sailors to safety, the act sets in motion a chain of events that will demand everything from Rolf: his childhood, his innocence, and perhaps his life. Rolf is an extraordinary archer, trained by his father in the craft of weapons. But when tragedy strikes and his father falls, the young bowman must navigate the unforgiving terrain of Viking law to seek justice for his family. The story pulses with the raw power of the great sagas, a tale of courage, loyalty, and what it costs to carve your own fate when the world insists you are doomed. It endures because it captures something timeless about the bond between fathers and sons, and the moment when a boy must decide who he will become.
