The Red Tavern

A young knight carries a warrant that could save a kingdom or destroy it. Sir Richard rides through medieval England and into Scotland, where legend says the Red Tavern appears only to those marked for doom. What begins as a mission of loyalty becomes a descent into conspiracy and dark family secrets in this 1914 historical adventure. The prose carries an old-world atmosphere, shadows gathering around every crossroad as our hero discovers that the greatest danger may not come from without but from within his own bloodline.
