The Phantom Airman

In the shadow of Germany's defeat, Rittmeister Heinrich von Spitzer refuses to accept peace. A once-celebrated airman now branded traitor and outlaw, he rallies a band of bitter former pilots around a dangerous mission: to avenge their shattered nation using a secret weapon the world has never seen. The Scorpion is an advanced aeroplane of revolutionary design, and in the hands of these vengeful men, it becomes something far more terrifying than any treaty could account for. As the three pilots forge their bond in the preparation for aerial warfare against the nations that humbled them, the story builds toward an urgent reckoning in the skies above a post-war Europe still trembling with instability. This is adventure fiction at its early 20th-century peak: breathless, politically charged, and concerned with what happens when men trained for glory are told their glory has been stolen.
