The Lady of Big Shanty

In the untamed Adirondacks, where wilderness still whispers its old laws, a young man from a primitive settlement collides with the polished world of the wealthy elite. William Holcomb arrives late to an exclusive luncheon at The Players, his train delayed, his rough edges unmistakable among the silk and silver. But it's the story he tells of saving a man's life in the deep woods that commands their attention, and hints at a life far more dangerous and compelling than any they have known. As conversation turns to Bob Dinsmore, a mysterious fugitive with connections to the wilderness, the line between the refined and the feral begins to blur. At its heart, this is a story about what happens when the Codes of the forest meet the codes of the parlor which one will survive?
